My husband, Bob, and I hired Scott Rushing, owner of VIP SERVICES to do what was supposed to be a major job in our condo.

We had a wall of mirrors inlaid in some architectural molding. We wanted to have them removed and drywall put in its place. Other contractors we hired wanted to shatter the glass and then drywall. The mess and cost was way too high for our budget.

When Scott reviewed our options, he decided not to smash the mirrors. Instead, he wanted to frame inside the architectural molding and put up the drywall over the mirrors. What a brilliant idea since it was the least invasive way to cover the mirrors.

Scott was extremely careful in measuring the drywall (the top is curved) and he then secured the drywall over the mirrors and did a fabulous job of spackling at least three times over as many days. He also texturized the wall, primed and painted it.

Scott is meticulous when he works. Any sanding he did with one hand, had a vacuum in the other to keep the dust out of the rest of the house. Now, the wall is exactly what we envisioned and we recommend Scott Rushing and VIP SERVICES to anyone looking for a professional.

Get to know us

Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, Scott grew up in the shadow of his entrepreneurial father, spending many weekends working in his business as a young boy. No stranger to hard work, Scott began working in the automotive industry. After working his way through the demanding manufacturing world, Scott migrated his talents to the technology sector and held several IT consulting and supervision positions before moving to Naples in 2006.

Seeing a need for white glove “home services,” Scott informally began VIP Services. His skill set and service offering expanded throughout the years as his clients enjoyed entrusting Scott with anything and everything. For the past 24 months, and at the urging of his clients, Scott began planning to formalize his services, and VIP was made official in 2023. Scott’s passion for quality and caring for people shines through everything he does.
